## About
Oasis Technology is a software development studio founded by Ali Maad Hassan (24) in Wiesbaden, Germany. Shannon Cuomo joined as Co-Founder specifically for The Bar App and Bloghead — bringing 10+ years of real Wiesbaden gastronomy operations to two products that now live inside real venues. Tara Raeisi (21) leads engineering for non-gastronomy projects as Head of Engineering.

## What makes us different
We don't just build software — we OPERATE it. The Bar App runs live at Das Wohnzimmer in Wiesbaden with real financial, shift, and inventory data — not a demo, not a pilot. Ali drinks coffee in the venue it manages. Philosopher AI is live at philosopher.ea-s.info. We ship into our own infrastructure (Oasis Brain on Mac Mini M4 Pro, zero cloud egress, DSGVO-clean).

### The Bar App (Production)
Problem: Bar and club owners juggle six or more disconnected tools for shifts, POS, inventory, stock, and GoBD compliance. Nothing talks to anything else, and every month ends in a spreadsheet panic.
Solution: One AI-powered platform — WhatsApp bot for staff, GoBD-compliant financials, live inventory. Running live at Das Wohnzimmer (Wiesbaden) with real operational data.
Tech: FastAPI, PostgreSQL, WhatsApp Business API, local LLM, Stripe.

### Bloghead (Production-ready)
Problem: Independent artists and venue owners live in disconnected worlds. Bookings happen over DMs, contracts never materialise, payouts are forgotten Excel files.
Solution: Marketplace with automated contracts, Stripe Connect payouts, real-time chat. 220 components, 510 tests, Lighthouse 93.
Tech: Next.js, TypeScript, Stripe Connect, PostgreSQL, WebSockets.

### Philosopher AI (Live at philosopher.ea-s.info)
Problem: Philosophy is locked behind dense primary texts. Most people never meet the ideas that could change how they think.
Solution: 22 historical philosophers brought back as multilingual voice-first personas. RAG over 269K curated chunks of their actual writing. Three languages: English, German, Arabic.
Tech: ChromaDB, Ollama, Qwen 2.5 32B, Python.

### Oasis Brain (Active)
Problem: Cloud AI is expensive and European data leaves DSGVO jurisdiction. Token costs bleed margins.
Solution: Private Apple Silicon infrastructure running local LLMs. Every Oasis product inferences through it — zero external data egress.
Tech: Mac Mini M4 Pro, Ollama, Qwen, Llama, Nomic embeddings.

### KI-SEC Assist / CoAudit (Research — InnoProm-funded PhD at Hochschule Mainz)
Problem: A single ISO 27001 audit drowns in 800+ overlapping requirements across NIS2, BSI IT-Grundschutz, and DORA. Auditors cross-reference them by hand; contradictions slip through.
Solution: KI-SEC automates lexical search across the regulatory corpus. CoAudit flags contradictions between framework, policy, and audit responses using LLMs.

### LingXM (Built)
Problem: Free language apps break on airplane wifi. Paid ones paywall every feature.
Solution: Offline-first PWA with 79,570 vocabulary words across 8 languages. SM-2 spaced repetition. Runs entirely in the browser.
Tech: PWA, IndexedDB, React.

### AgriWize (Built, 4 days)
Problem: Small farmers cannot afford John Deere Operations Center. ESA satellite imagery is free but locked behind GIS tooling.
Solution: Uses free Sentinel-2 and Landsat imagery to generate NDVI crop health maps and AI irrigation recommendations.
Tech: Python, Rasterio, Sentinel Hub, Next.js.

### External ISB (Active consulting)
Problem: German mid-market SMBs need an ISB (Information Security Officer) by law and insurance, but cannot justify a full-time hire. VPN brute-force attempts hit their infrastructure every hour.
Solution: External Informationssicherheitsbeauftragter role. Active incident response, DSGVO advisory, Art. 32 DSGVO infrastructure security.
